Generation Lyme Zoom Account Terms of Service

Welcome to the Generation Lyme Zoom Account! These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Generation Lyme Zoom Account ("the Service"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

Account Usage:
a. You are responsible for how you present your information during your Zoom account registration and Generation Lyme Meet-Up RSVP process.
b. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.

Use of the Service:
a. The Service provided by Generation Lyme is for official community business only. The Zoom account is not for personal use.
b. You agree not to engage in any illegal, unethical, or inappropriate activities through the Service.

Content Sharing:
a. You retain ownership of any content you upload, share, or submit through the Service.
b. Sharing of offensive, inappropriate, or discriminatory content is strictly prohibited.

Technical Requirements:
a. Users are responsible for ensuring their devices meet the technical requirements for using Zoom.
b. Generation Lyme is not responsible for any technical issues arising from the user's device or internet connection.

Privacy:
a. Generation Lyme will handle your personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
b. You acknowledge and agree to the use of your information as described in the Privacy Policy.
c. Recording of Meet-Ups is strictly prohibited.
d. Personal contact information may be shared in Meet-Ups only with explicit consent.

Conduct:
a. Any use of the Zoom account for illegal, unethical, or inappropriate activities is strictly prohibited.
b. By using this Service, you are joining an environment that is committed to maintaining a space free of discrimination, racism, sexism, ageism, ableism, harassment, and any other form of harm. Harassment may encompass bullying, mobbing, hazing, stalking, and psychological, racial, religious, and backlash coercion, aggravation, or intimidation.
c. Participants are encouraged to ask for consent to discuss details shared in Meet-Ups in outside spaces.
d. Participants and hosts must not engage in harmful behavior, including forms of aggression, harassment, hostility, bullying, or discrimination toward other Meet-Up participants or community members. Conduct violations may result in your termination or suspension from access to the Service.
e. Definitions: Harassment may encompass bullying, mobbing, hazing, stalking, and psychological, racial, religious, and backlash coercion, aggravation, or intimidation. Discrimination is the unjust or prejudicial treatment of different categories of people, especially on the grounds of race or ethnicity, age, sex, sexual orientation, or disability.

Termination:
a. Generation Lyme reserves the right to terminate or suspend your access to the Zoom account for violation of these Terms of Service.

Updates and Modifications:
a. Generation Lyme may update or modify these Terms at any time without notice.
b. Continued use of the Service after modifications constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

Disclaimers:
a. The Service is provided "as is" and Generation Lyme makes no warranties regarding its availability, accuracy, or reliability.
b. Generation Lyme is not liable for any damages or losses resulting from the use of the Service.

Governing Law:
a. These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of New York State.
b. Any disputes arising from or in connection with these Terms will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in New York City.
