We understand the enormous financial toll Lyme and other tick-borne diseases can take on patients and families. Below, you’ll find a list of financial assistance programs available in the United States to help ease this burden.

LymeLight Foundation

The LymeLight Foundation is a 501(c)3 nonprofit that provides grants to children and young adults. The program assists with up to $15,000 for an individual or $30,000 for a family for treatment-related costs, including lab testing, doctor visits, and medications.

Lyme Treatment Foundation

The Lyme Treatment Foundation is a 501(c)3 nonprofit that provides grants of up to $4,000 to people of all ages in the US, Canada, the UK, and Germany to fund diagnostic testing and treatment of tick-borne illnesses.

Ride Out Lyme

Ride Out Lyme is a 501(c)3 nonprofit that provides financial assistance to adults 26 years of age or older. Grant amounts vary according to available funding and can be applied to the cost of testing, treatments, physician visits, medication, and supplements.

LivLyme Foundation

The LivLyme Foundation is a 501(c)3 nonprofit with a mission to provide grants to children aged 21 years old or younger to assist with medication and treatment costs.

Sam’s Spoons

Sam’s Spoons is a 501(c)3 nonprofit that offers financial assistance to people living in Pennsylvania who need help paying for treatment and medical expenses. Grant recipients may receive up to $2,000.

Partner in Lyme

Partner in Lyme, Inc. is a 501(c)3 non-profit charitable organization that provides $1,000 in financial assistance to residents of Connecticut dealing with a Lyme+ diagnosis.

LymeAid 4 Kids

Run by Lyme Disease Association, Inc., LymeAid 4 Kids is a 501(c)3 nonprofit that helps uninsured children 21 years or younger get testing and treatment. Recipients may receive up to $1,000.

Lyme Test Access Program

The Lyme Test Access Program (Lyme-TAP) is a nationwide (US-only) patient assistance program to provide assistance for initial Lyme-related lab tests to patients who demonstrate financial need.
