Generation Lyme Meet-Ups are Lyme disease support groups.

Meet-Ups are free, virtual, inclusive spaces where you can ask questions, share what’s on your mind, or just listen and connect with other patients and supporters facing tick-borne diseases. Since 2020, Generation Lyme Meet-Ups have welcomed more than 20,000 attendees from all 50 US states and six continents.

About Meet-Ups

At Generation Lyme Meet-Ups, you'll find a support group and more.

Living with Lyme disease or another tick-borne disease can be isolating, and reaching out for help, community, or friendship can feel daunting. That’s why we have Meet-Ups: supportive spaces to connect with people who understand what you’re going through.

Whether you want to talk, ask questions, share experiences, make friends, or simply be around people who get it, there’s a place for you here.

Meet-Ups are designed to make connecting with others as low-pressure as possible. You can:

  • Join calls as often as you want

  • Leave your camera off if it makes you feel more comfortable

  • Hang back and just listen

  • Turn on captions for accessibility

You’re not in this alone.

  • Virtual Meet-Ups allow us to bring together a large number of people who might never otherwise meet.

    Without geographic limits, participants can connect with a broad community of people who understand what it’s like to navigate Lyme and other tick-borne diseases—not just those who happen to live nearby.

    Meeting virtually also offers flexibility and comfort. Participants can join from wherever they feel most comfortable, without the travel and planning an in-person gathering requires. This can make all the difference when symptoms, energy, mobility, or schedules are complex and unpredictable.

Explore Our Meet-Ups

  • Monthly Topic Meet-Ups center on a new theme each month, creating space to share how the topic applies to your experience with Lyme disease. Previous topics have included Growth, Community, Relationships, Purpose, and Balance.

  • Burning Questions Meet-Ups are open forums where you can ask questions and discuss topics related to Lyme disease and life in general.

  • Themed Meet-Ups are tailored to specific groups, topics, and issues. Some are offered once, while others may repeat. Examples have included our Women’s, Men’s, Parents, Supporters, Partners, College Students, Late-Night, Support Animals, and International Meet-Ups. If you have an idea for a new Meet-Up, let us know!
