Mindy’s Story
Mindy, Licensed Neuropsychotherapist, Lyme Survivor, PhD Researcher, and helping others find hope through brain health, immune optimization, and the body’s ability to heal
“In 2020, my life changed almost overnight. I developed debilitating neurological symptoms from chronic Lyme disease and multiple co-infections. I lost my memory, struggled to process simple conversations, couldn’t drive safely, battled relentless fatigue, anxiety, pain, and brain fog, and eventually wondered if I would ever feel like myself again. I spent years searching for answers and trying countless treatments with little lasting improvement.
Everything changed when I began supporting my body’s immune system and focusing on both cellular health and the mind-body connection. As my body recovered, my symptoms gradually disappeared, and today I have my life back. That experience inspired me to dedicate my career to helping others find hope.
I am a licensed neuropsychotherapist completing my PhD in Integrative Medicine, where I am researching how immune optimization and mindset training may influence brain function and symptom improvement in individuals with Lyme disease. Using QEEG brain mapping, I am studying measurable changes in brain wave activity over time while participants complete a 120-day wellness program.
My mission is simple: to remind people that hope exists. Every person’s path is different, but I believe the body has an incredible capacity to heal when given the right support. If sharing my story encourages even one person to keep fighting, then every challenge I endured has been worth it.”
