"The only bite I remember going to the doctor for was classified as a spider bite. It didn’t look like a bullseye, so I was not given antibiotics for it. I live in California, where most doctors claim Lyme is not present. My symptoms began with headaches, flu-like symptoms, and trouble breathing. Over time, my health took a downward spiral. I was later diagnosed with hypoglycemia, migraines,endometriosis, ovarian cysts, candidiasis, food sensitivities, and an unidentified auto-immune disease. Within the six years of plummeting health, I would have recurring strep-throat stain C (which eventually lead to my tonsillectomy), bronchitis, sinusitis, ear infections, and pseudomonas. I gained weight, and despite my strict diet, I was 50lb overweight. Yet, every time I went to the doctor for answers, they told me that I was fine.
I eventually contracted a severe staph infection in my lungs that was not going away with any form of antibiotics. A friend from church suggested I go see a holistic practitioner, who ended up saving my life. I kicked the staph through her suggested protocol and was doing well until again my body began another spiral. It was not until I ended up battling H-pylori, C-difficile, and Mono when my doctor (who is familiar with Lyme) eventually saw the pattern that revealed the truth. That is the thing with Lyme, it can even fool the best doctors in the field. The day before my 33rd birthday, I received my official diagnosis and began Rife Frequency treatments."
